MEET JAY
Hey There!
My name is Jay Schmidt. I have a great passion for tourism which allows individuals an insight into different cultures and experiences. I grew up on a midwest dairy farm in Minnesota and received my Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota. My passion for agriculture, in turn, has sparked my passion for all things tourism.
Having traveled myself to amazing places both in the USA and overseas, I am able to use this wealth of knowledge to provide tours to customers so they can have a great vacation to many unique and exciting destinations worldwide.
With International Tour Management Institute (ITMI) training and International Association Tour Director and Guides (IATDG) membership, I have the knowledge and skills to provide a truly memorable tour experience. I enjoy working with my customers to provide tours tailored to the needs of the customer by offering many locations. Topics include agriculture, religious-themed, and sports specific.
American and world history are of great interest to me. I like to travel to where history was made. Teaching others of some of the backstories you do not get in history books is what I love to do. Everyone will remember the little stories. Making history fun will help us remember where we came from.
