A visit with my group to the National Archives in Washington DC. It is home to the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The National Archives and Records Administration is an independent Federal Agency that preserves and shares with the public the records that trace the story of our nation, Government and the American People.

The Constitution written in 1787, ratified in 1788 and in operation since 1789. The world's longest surviving written charter of government.
